Why not C?

C 選項　projected 修飾increase-->解釋為 increase 被策劃：　句意很奇怪

E 選項　projected 修飾consumer spending--> 策劃　consumer spending:句意
　合乎邏輯

他是說projection當"投射"的意思 所以不對

可是查字典 :( projection也有"計畫"的意思阿

重心是A, not B

imporvement of the economy 要著重於 lies on WHAT?
關鍵在於consumer spending是否有成長
還是關鍵在於consumer spending的計劃?

projection of increasing consumer spending

兩者語意不同
老莫的解釋令人不解

莫老先生的意思是說 ~ 這個projection 有ambiguity

當然他可以有"計畫"的意思 , 不過 如果要解釋成 ""投射" 那意思就荒腔走板啦

我的紀錄上 ,莫老先生有提共完整的解釋 ,意思跟 2 樓 Grace 的解釋是一樣滴

都是形容詞修飾的問題 ;)

本題我是選A ，看了答案後，我覺得重點應該是FOR THIS YEAR
因為A選項變成是今年做的預測，不過今年做的預測不一定測今年，所以錯。

(e)的increase也是projected的，也算projection吧，所以應該不是projection跟increase的關係。

對這一題還是有疑問
想請教各位怎麼判斷出 E 這個答案

首先 A的語法正確 N of N
而正確答案 E 句意和A是不同的
在OG中 能將A的句意排除 必須是邏輯上有錯誤
我看不出A的明顯錯誤在哪
因此我選了A

唯一有點疑問的是 increasing做修飾語
OG106有類似的修飾
OG 106 The decision by one of the nation's largest banks to 3 dollars billion in potential losses on foreign loans could mean less lending by commercial banks to developing courtries and increasing the pressure on multigovernment lenders to supply the funds.
正確選項為 increased pressure
OG對increasing的解釋如下
increasing implies without warrant that the increase has been continuing for some indefinite period of time, not that it occurs as a consequence of the bank's decision.
若是將increasing有＂持續一段時間的增加＂的意涵排除，我覺得 CDE誰優誰劣的區別又在哪裡呢?

經濟會不會成長, 仰賴:
"projection of increasing consumer spending this year.
"increase in consumer spending that is projected for this year.
前者的意思是: 經濟會不會成長, 仰賴今年的消費成長預測
後者的意思是: 經濟會不會成長, 仰賴消費成長, 而這個成長率(that)有訂出一個今年度的預測指標...

這樣應該不難懂為何答案要選E了
因為經濟成長當然不會是仰賴一個預測, 而是實質的消費成長, that子句之後再來補足這個消費成長有預測, 會比較妥當

對xx的期望端看對xx的"預測"
感覺句意比較平衡

不過, 我也不確定啦~~
