C)的 ,and dropping 中 , 是為了要引誘我們 (ETS壞蛋!)
相信drop不是
1.與change平衡 (所以用ving)
2.修飾前面的grayish green (所以加了and)
進而完美推論 which 與 drop 都是修是前面的 tree growth

D ) 中的causing needles to change .... and to drop.....

醬平衡的

不過 ,這題其實沒這麼複雜喔 , 從 C╱Ｄ　中的 which vs. causing
判段修飾對象歧異就行了 ^^

進而完美推論 which 與 drop 都是修是前面的 tree growth

我的想法是 ",and dropping 無法與前面的動詞cause 或 change　構成平衡",句子結構很奇怪,　而且and前面加了逗號, 讓人搞不懂主詞是誰, 造成句意不清楚.

我想請問的是,A與D我分不清楚ㄋㄟ.我怎麼覺得A比較對呢???
我把A的causing解讀為which causes
因此A全句是By suching sap from the young twigs of the hemlock tree,tree growth is retarded by the woolly adelgid,which causes needles to change color from deep green to grayish green and to drop prematurely.

我想AD大抉擇是句意的取決,但我覺得A句意比較對ㄋㄟ,請各位大大幫忙解惑!!

我了解了,A.D判決要在前的By suching sap from the young twigs of the hemlock tree

其主詞應是the woolly adelgid而非tree growth,因此A脫節.

沒錯 , which指涉對象是比, causing清楚但是這題的,which指涉錯誤
所以它是很清楚沒錯也錯得很明確... <:o)

數落C的不是：

不對按照句意
應為the wolly adelgid retards tree growth, which causes needles....
是"阻礙樹木生長"這件事造成葉子掉落
而非兩件平行發生的事
