我認為這兩個逗點間的文字只是補述Presenters裡面有個盲人的同位語而已，所以兩個逗號內本來就不能是一個句子，正確答案one of whom is blind也不是一個句子呀。
看看OG的解釋：
The subject, presenters, must be followed by a limiting appositive such as one of whom, that identifies an individual from among a larger group. Choice D is best: one of whom best serves an appositive to the subject, presenters, because the phrase means "one from among several or many." Choice A, one who, is unacceptable because one who cannot refer to the plural presenters. Choices B and C are ungrammatical because who competes with one as the subject of is. Choice E employs which, a relative pronoun that does not refer to people (presenters), but only to things.

A選項可看成Presenters的同位語，Presenters和one不匹配。

B選項必須改為：one of them who are blind

C選項必須把and去掉，改成one of them who are blind

Choices B and C are ungrammatical because who competes with one as the subject of is.(OG解釋不太懂意思) one of them who 這意思是one是第一個subject 而 who 是第二個 subject嗎? 可是who不是代one嗎?真的看不懂ㄟ

OG的解釋並不是指one與who分別指不同的東西,而是同一東西卻如此寫,造成redundant
如果用one of whom就簡潔多了!!

這一題實在看不懂???
問題1) 如果 one 是 presenters 的同位語, (A) (B) (D) 不都對嗎?
問題2) 同位語的數量可以不同? 為什麼 (A) 裡的 one (單數) 不能是 presenters (複數) 的同位語, (D) 裡的 one 就可以?
問題3) OG 說 (B) 裡頭 one 跟 who 爭動詞 is, 在我看, who 是關代主格, 代替 one, is 是 one 的動詞, 哪裡有 compete? 充其量可以挑剔 who 不知是代 one 還是 them 有指代不清的錯誤.
問題4) 如果 (D) 裡的 whom (受格) 才是 presenters (主格) 的同位語, 受格跟主格的同位, 有此一說嗎?

看了 OG 的解說,再理解一次看看.
(A) one 作 presenters 的同位語,數量不一致.
(B) who = one? them? 這可能就是上面說的 compete 吧!看來 OG 對 "N1 of N2 +關代"有"不明確"的看法(因為不知道關代要代哪個名詞)
(C) and 需要接完整句子
(D) OG 說是 limiting appositive 的用法,表示少數是多數的一部份並與多數同位
(E) which 不能指人

B應該是沒有who = one? them?的問題, 因為動詞是is, 已經很明顯的告訴要帶的是one, 不是them, B最大的錯誤, 應該就是有D選項的出現吧 :P

這樣還原下去(D)變成一個句子，反而就錯了! 因為缺乏聯接詞。
而(B)則是一個關代引領的名詞子句，基本上還是名詞，可當插入句。

我的疑問在於 正解(D)的whom是融和them跟who嗎?
如果是的話 不就變成who在形容them? 這樣句意就不對了 因為不是全部都瞎子。

還是who是形容one 只是一碰到them改成whom較簡潔? → 我比較傾向這個解法!
這題看似簡單! 可是我仔細推敲 還是有玄機ㄝ!
