The comparison in E, the best choice, is logical because people is understood as the subject of are enrolled.

看到以下的說法:

我不是很懂這個說法...應該說是不確定吧! (畢竟CD上討論也是有很多人說法是錯的)...可是又查不到as當關代的用法...有人知道嗎?或是查得到嗎? 感謝....例如：
--They took in as many people as could be accommodated in the small motel.

由此句可知在132中因为前句已经提到people故在as many后面省略，第2个as是关系代词修饰people。 --

The two brothers were satisfied with this decision，as was agreed to beforehand?两兄弟对此决定都很满意，这项决定事前已得到他们的同意。（先行词是decision）
He married her，as was natural．他和她结婚了，这是很自然的。（先行词是整个主句）
To shut your eyes to facts，as many of you do，is foolish．视而不见———你们好多人都是如此———是愚蠢的。（先行词是整个不定式短语）

為什麼不從另一個角度,把 equivalent/equal 當作 wildcard , 而以 enrollment / those 來決定它是指什麼呢?

E選 按句意 as many as (those or those people) are enrolled in.....
因為該句已指示設的很清楚在講people,
所以主詞就不用出現了呢?
要不要省略就我的理解，是否就是看上下文句意有無重複?
像You are as tall as I (am) -->be動詞已經重複

第一次看到此結構腦筋一時轉不過來...不過我覺得這題是不錯的題
