1. OG說C沒有使用慣用句型。慣用句型之一是X order Y to be Z'ed，這樣C不就符合了？我的想法是：the measure of levels of
bacteria in seawater at popular beaches and the results整個算Y。

2. E選項好像有省略， ...and the results (be) published...這樣還原對嗎？

如果是整個算的話, 就變成 measure & result這兩樣要被published, 改變句意, 並且如此一來會看不出measure 跟 result之間的邏輯關係 (原意為measure之後產生的result, 改變後變成兩者並存);

"the measure of levels of bacteria" 感覺有點awkward, 另外我沒有實際查證, 但感覺根據句意measure似乎該改成measurement...

2. E選項好像有省略， ...and the results (be) published...這樣還原對嗎？

這個我覺得你說的是對的...

剛查了字典，在這裡measurement真的比measure要好

還有一點是
在OG中經常看到一種解釋
就是Order X to be Y要是order 與 to be距離太遠(或是其他類似的文法結構)
都會被視為修飾不清而導致成為不能選的選項

這題的E是否有可能是OG漏寫 be 了呢?

我認為不能省略, 不然容易以為是 results published, 很怪

請問...究竟是什麼情況下會像這樣省略第二個 be呢?
搞不清楚什麼時候該省什麼時候不該省耶.. ;-S

1.E, that the levels of bacteria in seawater at popular beaches be measured and the results 原本應該是前後兩句對等的句型，and後面原本是the results be ，be因為跟前面重複，所以可省
2.對等結構中的同等句子成分可省略：
2-1 Peter like（Mary）, but John hates Mary
2-2Jim came at eight but Henry (came) at nine.
2-3I like her more than (I like) him.
2-4To some life is pleasure, and to others (life is) suffering.
2-5You may go by land or (by) water.
2-6That is a matter of life and (of ) death.攸關生死

請問 that 為何可省 ??

根據CD大牛的解釋，and 後面不加that，不是因為省略用法，而是後方如果加入that，會改變句意，也就是變成：

...order (that the levels....be measured) and (that the results.....)

如此一來，表示官員order了兩個獨立事件，一件是去measure，一件是去publish the result。什麼result？由mesured and result 之間的關係已經斷掉、分別獨立，所以什麼result不知道→改變句意

為什麼在OG v11的解釋裡是把that在句中省略掉了?

又想請教that到底甚麼情況可以省，甚麼情況不能省?
做到目前蠻多題目都是that不可省才會前後平衡
