每次我問的問題，好像都沒有人問 :'( 真是尷尬~~~


Q3:
Material A costs $3 per kilogram, and material B costs $5 per kilogram. If 10 kilograms of material K consists of x kilograms of material A and y kilograms of material B, is x > y?

(1) y > 4
(2) The cost of the 10 kilograms of material K is less than $40.

答案是B

我的作法：
x+y=10 x>y?

從（1）y>4 y=5.6.7.8.9.10 therefore x=5.4.3.2.1.0
所以x<=y 可以答

從（2）3x+5y<40
x的範圍=1.2.---13
y的範圍=1.2.---7
所以無法作答

我選（A） :( 而且還不知道自己錯哪裡... 救救我吧大人...

我的作法：
x+y=10 x>y?

從（1）y>4 y=5.6.7.8.9.10 therefore x=5.4.3.2.1.0

你忘了還有題目還有給另一個條件 X+ Y=10---(b)

(a)(b)聯立,則 可得x >y

文中並沒有說明x,y必定是整數
所以假如y=4.5, x=5.5 --> x>y
y=6 , x=4-----> x<y
答案不唯一!不選!

呵呵，我不是高手 ，但我大概可以告訴你為什麼（2）可以成立。
因為題目給的條件為『X＋Y＝10』，那根據（2）所提供的是『3X＋5Y〈40』
為符合題目的條件『X＋Y＝10』，可得
X＝7，Y＝3 （3X＋5Y＝36〈40）、X＝6，Y＝4 （3X＋5Y＝38〈40）
符合題目所問的『X 〉Y ？』。
不知這樣清楚嗎？
