這一題不是基本上是要 "recent laboratory research on rat" 實驗結果和 "residents"有啥關連

peanuts是residents主要food 而 peanuts 導致↑ aflatoxin growth...

那不正好證明.. milk+alatoxin → liver cancer ↑

D) powdered milk is the most appropriate form in which to send milk to a tropical destination [但無法證明吃了powdered milk 會導致 liver cancer

且 the "___________" must explain why the Research on rat is RELEVENT to conclude that the growth of liver cancer among those poorest residents is due to the consumption of "powdered milk"??

不就是指人們長期接觸aflatoxin了嗎
我覺得兩個互相矛盾

這邊沒有長期短期的問題哩！

A就是把aflatoxin跟milk結合在一起，就是把原文欠缺的橋樑搭起來了

矛盾是指什麼矛盾呢？你是指實驗的短期跟實際狀況上的長期是不同基準所致嗎？

如果是這樣，請看仔細原文喔--->Subsequently, the rate of liver cancers among those islanders increased sharply. 是有了牛奶之後，liver cancers才開始增加

所以關鍵是casein 與 aflatoxin的結合，跟接觸aflatoxin長期短期沒有關係

因為題目是說rats briefly exposed(短暫的接觸).......
也就是在實驗過程
老鼠短暫接觸aflatoxin才引起 liver cancer的
而A的staple不是日常用品嗎

所以兩個會不會矛盾?

先整理一下題目思路:

題目提到用老鼠做的實驗, 是為了舉例說明假如接觸過黃麴毒素 (aflatoxin)之後, 再遇到奶蛋白casein就容易導致liver cancer的產生

這邊提到briefly 以及 staple的目的並非要highlight長期 or 短期的問題, 而是為了強調花生這種容易產生黃麴毒素的東西是人們日常生活中的主食, 因此絕大部分人都體內都會有黃麴毒素, 這樣一來, 再碰到奶粉, 就導致了liver cancer的增加...

假如花生並非主食, 而只是很偶爾才會有人吃ㄧ下, 那麼理論上liver cancer是不會因為人們開始使用補給品奶粉而大幅增加的....

因此兩者非但不矛盾反而是起到相互說明的作用喔...
