ans: about 5 billion years old, has existed roughly half as long as our solar system, estimated to be 10 billion year old

我不太懂為何這裡不需要加has-->as long as "has" our solar system

我覺得是動詞相同所以省略了,
原級比較的前後動詞都是has所以就省略了,
我想,跟 He is as tall as I (am). 當中省略後面那個be動詞的意思一樣.

謝謝jacob!! 我當初也是降子想...但是做到Q149的時候就搞混了...
不懂的就是為什麼Q149就不用省ㄋ??
還是分不清耶~~

第二個as後需不需要補上助動詞應該依會不會造成歧義而定
Q145 第2個as之前只出現過一個名詞galaxy所以第2個as後的our solar system清楚地就是跟galaxy比
Q149第2個as之前有it(the company)和kitchen units所以第2個as後一定要補上had表示its rivals擔任主詞跟前面的主詞 it作比較
