所以用分詞enabling來表達隨後的結果
答案D裡.
the same construction "that" ,the same...that 不是就指同一個construction的嗎?這裡好像沒有,
而且also enables,用also,感覺前面應該有另一個動作吧..

"Scientists have recently discovered that..." 由that 引導的名詞子句要有完整的主詞與動詞的結構, 主詞部分為construction 所以動詞需為單數型態的enables , ACE可以直接劃掉, B我認為問題出現在the same one, one 指的是contruction 還是 butterfly? 不夠清楚

我沒抄錯的話莫背背曾經這樣說明上面的問題:
a adj1 and adj2 noun...這樣的表示方式adj2在形容描述裡是佔比較高的比重(adj1:adj2=40:60)
a adj1, adj2 noun...這樣則是50:50
兩種方法都可以...強調的程度不同...

有關於本題我個人prefer d...原因如下:
我個人以為主詞為construction (of a butterfly's wing)
untrathin(maybe是"極""thin"的意思...字典沒這個字)與layered應該都是adj...如上所述的形容詞表達方式...
所以a)的are就不大對了...另外the same as前面到底是省略which are還是which is也有可能造成ambiguous (a of b + verb的類型...verb是跟a還是跟b)
b)有了that造成句子沒有verb...另外that關代應該也不能在,後面(插入句不知道可不可以喔)
c)c我以為是enable出了問題...因為是那個東西enable後面的描述...這樣的表達方式有可能是construction、iridescence或是前面的整句話...會有ambiguous的可能
d)破折號...有重複說明the same construction 應不至誤解為描述wings...另外因為補充說明裡有提到construction "makes"...所以主要句子中的also enables的also我個人也認為是okay的(因為construction有兩個動作...一個在補充說明一個在主要子句)
e)主詞動詞不一致...另外破折號內說明的主題也不清楚
