The sum of three integers is 40. The largest integer is 3 times the middle integer, and the smallest integer is 23 less than the largest integer. What is the product of the three integers?

我的算式是設三數由大至小為a.b.c
a+b+c=40
a=3b
c+23=a
但是我代入之後a卻不是整數.....請問我錯在哪裡?.....教教我吧....感激不盡

你的列式都沒錯阿~ 應該是你計算錯誤吧!
照你的算法: c=a-23=3b-23
a+b+c= 3b+b+(3b-23)=40
7b=63 --> b=9
thus a=27 , c=4
