由此, discriminate 可以作及物或不及物動詞
作及物動詞時, discriminate A from B 強調差異:
The ability to think discriminates humans from other animals.作作不及物動詞時, discriminate between A and B 用於判斷:
It is important to teach children to discriminate between right and wrong.

這一題句意上判斷的成分多於差異,所以用 between...and; 個人覺得, 判斷其實就已經有差異的意思 (不然怎麼分別好壞), 做題的時候可能要再多想一層, 句意是不是要藉判斷來突顯差異, 還是單純地描述差異.
