Dear Pudding,

Thank you for your application to the Simon School of Business. Although we were unable to extend an admission offer, the Admissions Committee is always happy to provide feedback about an applicant's application.
While a GMAT score of 640 is a strong score, the average GMAT score of our Taiwanese applicants is 667 and the average score of our current student body is 664. However your new score of 710, which was received after your admission decision, is a great improvement from your previous score.
The area for greatest improvement would be your essays. There were may spelling, grammatical and word-usage typos throughout your essays and the Admissions Committee felt that you could have done a better job "selling yourself" to the Simon program. In essay #2, your accomplishments need to be described in a way that makes them significant enough to leave a lasting impression on the reader. We were also confused by your mention of the All-Finance Conference in essay #1 when you had previously stated that you were interest in International Management and Marketing.
1. essay #2
Discuss three professional accomplishments which demonstrate your potential as a successful leader. (Limit to 500 words)
2. essay #1
Describe your post-M.B.A. or post-M.S. career plans. How will a degree from the Simon School help you to achieve these goals? How does your past education and experience support your career objectives? (Limit to 500 words)
4. 此段重點是: do a better job "selling yourself" to the MBA program you apply to)
We appreciate your interest in reactivating your application for the January 2006 term. The Admissions Department would be happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact our office at any time; we look forward to assisting you in the future.
Regards,
