有人可以解釋一下原句的結構順便還原一下原句 ? 我對這題突然有點困惑 ....為甚麼最後要用 there were ? 為甚麼不是 there was ? 還有as many as 那個 many是 many (times) 的意思嗎 ??

所以AＢD都可以刪掉


而E every thirty-two pupils 是複數 而用HAS 主動詞不一致
所以剩下C


不過 好像沒有解出你想要知道的答案喔

我覺得結尾和Behemonth大致相同
但是少了every
there were 128 pupils for one computer [WERE因為128pupils是多數]

我覺得 there were every 128 pupils for one computer
如果要用 every的話 there 不應當用 there WAS 而非WERE嗎

這個(E)的four times as many as修飾的是computer還是pupils..
感覺上這種表達似乎都有可能吧..
還有,這裡用have或是has,我都覺得怪怪,因為實際上computer not belong to pupils啊!
對於(E)的every thirty-two pupils now has one microcomputer, four times as many as 到底要用have 還是has...真是不了解... :-S

結論就是

如此一來,既顧到我的前後對稱,也解決了麥克剔的單複數問題...

C的句意是"現在是1個電腦給32個人用，是當年的四倍"暗示當年是1台電腦給128個人用
E的句 意是"每32人用一台電腦，是當年的四倍"那不就暗示當年是8個人用一台，怎麼會通呢

句意還是真是王道哩

there is now one microcomputer for every thirty-two pupils, four times as many as there WAS (one microcomputer for every 128 pupils)

why OG showed "were" instead of "was" ?? I can understand what you guys to say but what I don't understand is the reason of "there were 128 pupils for one computer"
