我想這題我比較肯定答案會是D...原因如下....

加入would的原因在於題目中forecasts這個字....同樣有可能發生或是可能不發生的意思在....所以我覺得需要加入假設語氣....

另一個判斷重點.....在考economic和economical的分別....

兩個都是形容詞...可是economical的意思是not spending or costing money

在本題中我想應該是用economic才沒有改變句意.... ;)

1.more than now不可以代替more than they do now
意思會不一樣.
2.你可以從economic和economical的分別來做判別.
3.有would是比較不武斷,因為是是在計算人口,所以不可能精確計算出正確人數.
還是盡量以選項作選擇,以其他錯誤來找正確答案.

但原諒我英文不好,再讓我問一下~
我做OG有整理到:
Sb predicts(calculates) that S+will+V
predicted..... that S+would+V
感覺是預測的那件事上要用推測語氣
但這題主要的句子並不是一個推測啊~是他要做推測的條件而已,不是嗎?這裡是我的盲點嗎?該怎麼解釋呢?再麻煩各位大大解惑摟~謝謝~

先跟你道歉，上篇文章我只是直接把四樓illuna大哥的話重講一遍而已。

你說的對，這題的forecast不使用推測語氣（因為後面的句意不是在說他們推測到了什麼）。
這題唯一的辦別方式就是more than以及economic。
