答案是D，不過dated改thought會不會改變句意，還有E那裡錯，請各位牛牛指導，謝謝

是有輕微地改變句意沒錯，但是因為其他的答案都有很大的問題，所以D是優選。

E錯在date的用法，
正確的用法應該是dated by some scholars to(at) around。
不過還是改成主動比較好：some scholars date the domestication to(at) around the 12th century B.C..

可是我的莫杯杯講義是寫 date to be/(at) + N 說，困惑中

不過我覺得這裡應該就是故意考被動，因為D也可改成主動

我覺得一樣，因為camel是生物可以用 'S。A of b的格式，則是通用的。

原來 (E) 是從 be dated to be 把 be 動詞改完成式變來的, 只覺得曾經去過哪裡會這樣用: I have been in Kaohsiung during military service. 雖然 be 有存在的意思, (E) 的主詞函意就變成"在12th BC那個時候的豢養駱駝";同樣養駱駝,但改變句意喔!(原意主詞應只有豢養駱駝).
camel’s domestication 的確不恰當, domestication 是抽象名詞,不能擁有.
(C) 1. Ving 是動作, 誰做這個動作呢? 2. Ving 表持續性, 12th BC 的人不會現在活著還在養駱駝.
(A) (B) 主詞是駱駝,然而句中的 key 應該指豢養駱駝.
