3 weeks中
前2週是for international students only
最後一週是全部的MBA學生(international+domestic)


這2周中
都是lunch on your own
所以看你要在那邊吃
如果躲起來吃也交不到朋友
(我是一直很想躲起來.. )

我跟水手現在跟一對新加玻couple還不錯
除此之外就是一些China跟Korea的同學了.......
疑..都是東方人....
有一隻密魯同學是我們全班最年輕的
24歲,還蠻可愛的

其他國家的同學
上課聊聊天
中午吃吃飯就算了
沒有好到可以相約一起 shopping的............

妳是說整個UV的MBA只有你一個台灣人
還滿誇張~這麼好的學校及program竟然沒有其他台灣人

今年只有我一人啦
但是我有幾位學長姐在這邊阿
也不算太慘!

It's a really interesting post! ^____^

Have so many things to tell you guys but don't really have time now. It's nearly 1 a.m. now. I have to get up at 6 a.m. in the morning and go to school for the "international highlight" rehearsal... Orz

Only one thing I gotta say now is that: I hate "social", and I hate networking...

there were so many receptions in the past few days and we kept talking the same thing to each person:

Hey, I'm xxx from Taiwan. Where are you from?
have you all settled down?
when did you arrive?
wow, that's great! and do you like the city?
why choose Emory?
oh, really! that's interesting! so what's your concerntration?
......

and that's it... the conversation just ended up here and I didn't really know what else to say... so I just walked to another person and said: Hey, I'm xxx from Taiwan. Where are you from?

one another thing is that, sklpeng you are sooo right! The most difficult accent for me, or I should say for most of our international students is of our Indian classmates... orz

I beleive you wll get used to it!
American social style is not intersting but easy to copy
(because it's too boring as you mentioned)

Some classmates will be friendly enough to motivitate you
to brainstrom other creative topics.U will definately grow up!
And become more confident

今天還被 cold call...
老師叫我名字的那一刻, 感覺像被雷劈到一樣!

You are more lucky, because in my case....
People speak another language, Spanish, Franch,bra bra bra... Orz... one Taiwanese saying can explains my feeing ......
