[語音講座] 9月10日晚，Wharton在校生答疑MBA申请(speakers' profiles added)

1. WHAT?

Three first-year Chinese MBA students at wharton will share their experiences in MBA application and answer questions of all relevant aspects. Anyone interested is more than welcome.

2. WHEN?

- 9:00-10:00pm, this Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005 (Beijing Time)

3. WHERE?

4. WHO?

The speakers will be three first-year Chinese MBA students at Wharton. Anyone interested can attend. Their profiles are as follows:

1)
Name: Kenny
Education: BEng Civil Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology,
/Graduate Diploma in Finance, Chinese University of Hong Kong
Experience: 5 years in HKSAR Government working in engineering design, urban
planning, project management and public policy
Concentrations: Finance, Strategic Management
Career Goal: Finance/Consulting for a few years and start own company

2)
Name: Leilei
Education: Bachelor degree in International Economics in Beijing
Experience: I worked as an entrepreneur in computer software industry for three years before I came to Wharton.
Concentration: Finance
Career Goal: Financial Service Industry

3)
Name: Herbert
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua; MS in EE, U of Southern California
Experience: 6.5 years in Silicon Valley (San Francisco Bay Area)
Concentrations: Entrepreneurial Management; Finance
Career Goal: Private Equity ( - Venture Capital); Hedge Fund;
Entrepreneurship

5. HOW?

In order to make better use of the chat time, you may want to post some of your questions here prior to the event so that the speakers can provide answers to the common questions first before taking specific ones through live chat.

The tentative agenda:

- Self-instroduction of speakers & individual application experiences (20 minutes)
- Answers to common questions collected in advance (10-15 min.)
- Q&A: live questons (25-30 minutes).

小弟我之後可能也會分配到去參與CD的講座回答大家的問題！！不過如果大家對wharton有什麼疑問，尤其是申請第一輪的人，just shoot me a mail!! 不過我不敢保證能夠一天之內就回覆！！最近太多party了！！每天喝的酒都快比水還多....不過我還是會盡我所知回覆各位的！！

我們之後會固定時間回文！！因為最近大家也是越來越忙！！不過相較於其他B-school，我好像還算比較不操的！！我想wharton強調1/3 academic, 1/3 job hunting, 1/3 personal life (=party??) 算是稍微人性化一點的學校！

我的背景就麻煩你去搜尋一下好囉！！之前應該po過蠻多次的！！有點小懶惰...sorry...申請的方向？我不是很明白這個問題！！could u say it more specifically??

今年直接從台灣來的有六個人！四個女生兩個男生，三個女生從事marketing相關工作, 一個女生是finance background, 另一個男生是tech and VC background.

Wharton真的是個很有趣的地方！！歡迎成為我的學弟妹！！呵呵！！
