解答說是比較兩個動作，可是我怎麼看不出來呢？

是兩個動作。

just as human beings do when they breathe.
as...do正是強調呼吸的動作（呼氣~吸氣）。
如果用similar的話就感受不太出來了，因為similar要接to sth.。

變成水果「呼吸的方式」和人類「呼吸的方式」相同---水果也用鼻子呼吸???
所以是不對的

just as human beings do when they breathe
水果呼吸時會吸收氧氣釋放二氧化碳
就好像人類在呼吸的時候也會(吸收氧氣釋放二氧化碳)
正確！

所以A和E所講的事情是不同的

我覺得解答上所說"此句是兩個動作的比較"，並不是指taking和giving耶...
我覺得是指水果respire 和人類do(代替respire) 這兩個動作。
ABC 介詞後面接的名詞都沒有可以對應的東西
D as後面應接子句
E just as就像是 as再接子句對了!

原來考的重點在"水果<>人類", 但是都吸氧吐二氧化碳, 比較的是動作, 所以用 do; 我覺得 do = take (in) , give (off) 這個動作.
