E 的that指的是 the last day 因此形容詞子句中 collect在意義上的受詞為 最後一天 極不合理
而且 they 除了可以指代 workers 之外 前面還有 packages 所以 not clear

D 的意思頗正確
不像大多數的離職補償金都要求員工一定要做到最後規定的那一天(為了要領到補償金)
汽車公司的員工即使在離職前就找到新工作 也可以領得到
