這題還有個關鍵字thereby
在ＯＧ能夠看到很多句子,後面接thereby後會接動名詞表一系列動作
那其實就是and thereby +V~

請指教

用which的話，基本AE都一樣
但這裡不止是ambiguity，而是文義不對了

這提是要講兩個動作
這兩個動作同等重要
並需表達"因果關係"

看到"同等重要"
以主次要結構概念
就可以把有鬥號which的非限定關代補述刪了
A. exhibit, which thereby activates
B. exhibit, in turn an activation of
C. exhibit, and it will activate
D. exhibit and thereby activate
E. exhibit which, as a result, activates

A刪掉
E雖然是限定用法
但跟在後面的動辭activate也變成補述而"降級"
沒有跟touch"同等重要"
也刪

再來也跟歐雞259提一樣
對等連接詞and無法表達因果關係
必須要有因果副詞才能傳達原意
C的and it will..無法表達因果
刪
B裡只剩一個動辭
activation變成小弟一再強調的"狀態"
無法傳達原"動作概念"
算改變句意

剩D
兩動辭用對等連接詞連接"同等重要"
中間補上因果關係副詞"thereby"
完整傳達原提句意
鼓勵旅客"觸摸"且"啟動"動畫功能

之前我在做某些題目時也靈機一動地有想到類似"同等重要"這個觀念
但總是模模糊糊地

這題的句意有類因果關係和次序性存在,
所以另外的(B)選用了in turn, (E)選用了as a result
一方面是提示我們一方面也在混水摸魚
因為根據題意, 一定是先"touch", 之後才會"activate"
