助動詞為什麼不是has?

E沒有倒裝哩，
所以主詞是people。

不過後面要用非限定用法喔（,關代）

試比較之前版上討論過的兩句：
(1)I have a brother, who is a doctor.

(2)I have a brother who is a doctor.

第一句暗示我只有一個哥哥...他是醫生
第二句暗示我有很多哥哥...其中一個是醫生

專有名詞當然只有一個,因此前面要加逗點
E的用法對啦
其他沒逗點的暗示有很多Mormon

不過後面要用非限定用法喔（,關代）

我上課抄到的筆記是~~~(專題講義p32.OG#51)
專有名詞一定要非限制
如果用限制性的(關代前無逗點)，則一定要加冠詞
Ex. The John Smith whom you met last night is a music teacher.
如此則表示JOHN不只一人

不過這裡的the Mormons我認為是一個專有名詞，要把他看作一個整體，所以用非限定adv.cl是沒有問題的

我覺得of it 省略與否...無關對錯(因為不影響句意)...只是好壞

若二個選項在其他部分不分軒輊,只差有無省略of it,那省略比較好,簡潔

但若像本題,選項中的其他部分已有錯誤,那省略與否就不應是考慮的重點

我支持faithful大大的看法，我原本也以為本題應該是考SO…that的用法，
但句意若真翻成如此…以致於，真的會很怪！
本題的大意應該是
自從1975年如此多的人一直移到猶他州，這個地方曾經占75%的摩門教徒目前占了僅一半(50%)
所以本題的so僅是在修飾many而以，並沒有SO…that這個考點..

雞婆的補充大家沒有講Ｃ的錯－這題Ｃ選，句子一開始就用that，怪！that什麼？
所以Ｃ選刪掉
至於其他選項，樓上大牛講的很精采不再贅述…

since引導的句子似乎沒動詞只有that引導的名詞子句當主詞

另外我在longman中有查到such that連用的例子
b) formal used to say that something is so great, so bad etc that something else happens
be such that/as to do something
The force of the explosion was such that windows were blown out.
His manner was such as to offend nearly everyone he met.
不過前面都是有be動詞,所以一看到(a)(c)(d)沒有 就直接刪了吧!
