如果一定要說ETS題目沒問題.我只好同意這樣的解釋. 但是我認為
1.莫清威老師說 : and 前面有 "," 平衡三個. 所以我覺得應該用tend平衡.
2.如果是補語,語意變成"傾向於努力工作的史前人民相較於游牧獵人,較容易遭疾病侵害與吃較差的食物" 我覺得很怪啦! 而且如果是做補語的話, and前面的逗點不加也沒關係吧!

剛剛看到追夢上的解釋 讓我豁然開朗
,and 的確連接三個動詞 分別為tended to後面所接的 work suffer eat

這題實在很詐

A.形容詞，形容後面的villagers-->對
B. tend後面加to -->對
C. suffer後面加from，表受到某某疾病或災難的威脅 -->對
D. 比較級前面不能加定冠詞(除了the more...the more句型以外)，最高級則一定要加定冠詞-->去掉the，就對了
