請問大大們
until it has healed 一定要用完成式嗎?,為何不能用簡單現在式即可,
另外, 答案A中with widespread swelling and stiffness immobilizing the injured area until it heals,用來說明response有何不佳之處?

其實這題是很簡單的
一開始就可以把ABC三個答案delete掉
甚DE決戰
ABC三個主要的錯是主詞不平行
Unlike the body’s inflammatory response 說明對照的應該是

the body’s more localized response
因此馬上可以排除
再來 AB中用with除了冗長外其意思也會改變變成with 是修飾的對象不是cuts and sprains
再來E最大的的錯誤就是instead 造成文法上的錯誤
故D是最好選項
D用完成式事表示作者強調要等傷口處已經完全瘉合後 widespread swelling and stiffness 才不會繼續immobilize傷口

這一題利用平衡是可以很快選到D
可是還不太清楚with這個副詞子句在此有何不妥,不是很了解你所說的意思會改變??
這句中句意不是都是指response嗎?,
D選中which也是指response 吧?
一直對With和關代的修飾,抱著小疑惑~~~:(

which一般是緊跟逗號前的那個名詞
這裡題目意思是要修飾cut and sprains 用with 就會變是要修飾
response 改變句意
至於with的用法
我想你可以參考大全裡面的天山補充題的第一題

也想知道整句的意思
我覺得大意是
不像身體對扭傷產生的發炎性反應,(腫瘤跟僵硬會遍佈整個傷口或者扭傷的區域,直到傷口癒合),身體對於曬傷的反應,則是會分辨皮膚哪裡有受到影響跟哪裡沒受到影響

呵呵翻得很爛
不知道immobilize跟localize要怎麼翻才對阿

這裡的which 應該是指cuts and sprain沒錯
因為把句子還原就變成了 widespread swelling and stiffness in cuts and sprain immobolize,...
這樣對嗎

我想不一定要求翻譯翻得很精準,理解是最重要的
畢竟考試沒有時間讓你去翻譯阿.
immobilize就是使其不能自由行動的意思
localized是局部

快速分享一下我看到的考點
1.dangling :去掉BC
2.A的with介詞片語改變句意;localized,resulting不平衡
3.cuts and sprain不能用where代;is immobilized with非慣用,要用by;被動不簡潔
4.C的with介詞片語改變句意;by means of is wordy;one has no reference
5.D的instead造成redundancy跟run-on sentence

PS.這裡heal有三種時態,所以應該不是考時態吧;
我認為until healing,until it has healed跟it heals應該都可以吧
