(E) 似乎是不簡潔句型的典型例子之一:不必要的 be 動詞句意(除了 be 之外, which is, that is 這種意思為"是"的字詞)

過去時間明確,是不是就不需要用過去完成式(即使事件在過去的過去)?

我覺得E的過去完成式是OK的,可以清楚地顯示事件的前後順序

18世紀比25年前更早,

而E應該是錯在 well established 修飾歧義,

可修飾mineral extraction 或 leaching,

這兩個不相等, leaching只是mineral extraction中的一種method而已

句意上兩種都可修飾, 所以造成歧義
