我先刪BC，挑ADE
發現就語感上來說,grow to be變成殺人鯨長成30尺長”
而grow as big as 30 feet則是”生長的長度和30尺一樣”
這兩者是不同的

如果在逗點前面的子句沒有出現 n1, 介系詞, n2, which
逗號前面又有明確的名詞
更重要的，句意也說的過
那麼用which是絕對正確的，而且也省不得的

這可是錯了數十題之後所規納出的規則呢

AGk大哥你可不可以請你講的在詳細一點,
你的意思是不是n1+prep.+n2,which~,n2有明確的名詞=>which不可省
我的問題如下
1.如何認定"明確的名詞"???
2.在這種情形如果使用分詞會有怎樣的後果????

這題還有一個考點-grow的用法,我把CD的講法整理如下
grow 是動詞, big 只能作形容詞, 修飾錯誤.
30feet是用來形容長度的，不能修飾big.所以a對，d錯
grow + adj. 的時候意思是：to change and become different quite slowly ，在這�邏輯不對
grow在作系動詞的時候意思是趨勢的變化，而本題�的grow的意思是生長

非限定用法的形容詞子句 ,其關係代名詞最好不要省略
不然有可能造成修飾語誤置,

承Jocob,因為B,C在這邊用growing,會產生修飾語誤置

非限定adj cl關代不可省,所以growing一定不是修飾the killer whale

因此growing在此會被誤解為修飾the 32 species!!!改變句意!!!

那個which grow as big as 30 feet long 這裡我解一下
這句大家讀得很困惑是因為它是標準的中式英文
翻成中文就語意正確長的跟30呎一樣大怎聽都合理

所以這個不能去翻譯它

我是用文法去拆它原級比較 as....as
先寫例子
He is as tall as I (am).
He runs as fast as Jack (runs).
兩邊可以符合

這句 which grow as big as 30 feet long
還原一下 the killer whale grow as big as 30 feet long (verb?)
這樣看錯誤就很明顯了殺人鯨跟30呎無法符合阿

總結就是看到比較題不要去解文意會有思路死角不要怕麻煩將前後都還原看看就可以找出錯誤

我覺得這裡的up to講的是一個程度
跟grow的原意無關耶...
和grow會有redundent的應該是raise吧...

請指教...
