So the answer B explains the reason. As the new restaurant "inspires" the "potential customers", it meantioned in the answer B that most customers to new restaurant never dined in the old restaurant. Also, these customers are more than the seats in the new restaurant, so they must go to the old restaurant when the new restaurant is full. (你去吃飯發現餐廳沒空位, 不是會到另一家嗎 ) This explains the business of old restaurant serves more meals every night.

Regarding answer A, it's not strong enough to explain the reason. It mentioned the new restaurant serves more meals on the weekend than the old restaurant. This should impact the business of the old restaurant instead....那不是 weaken 嗎 ? Because this choice is only meantion "situation" instead of explaining the "reason" !!!

今天作到這題，結果把五個選項全刪，即使答案(B)，也有點牽強，Cafe客滿，就一定要去Inn這一家嗎？不能買泡麵吃自己嗎？就算進了Inn這一家，也不能證明serving會增加，因為也許Inn本來就是天天高朋滿坐(產能早就已經100%在利用，訂單再多也吃不下來)

反正題目沒提到，要自己去想的答案，應該都是瑕疵邊緣的題目

應該是吧
如果你是要問老師的技巧可不可以用
那我覺得那些都只是參考 思路才是決定答案的關鍵

所以很明顯的,A和D都錯了, 因為只局部的限定在weekends和sundays?

另外,C和E是否為無關之事?
因為題目主要在問the number of meals served

認同,以消去法作答,只能選B

簡單說就是新餐廳只靠新客源,沒有拉走舊餐廳的原有客源
還因為無法吸納所有新客源,而使部分新客源轉向舊餐廳,
使得舊餐廳的出餐量比以往更多(原有客源+部分新客源)
