這提就是不簡潔也會對的
一般用that of xxx會比較簡潔

至於(A)應該不會有一致性的問題, 這裡強調的是許多恐龍有一種metabolism, 說的是他們的共同特性, 而不是許多恐龍有各自不同的metabolism(這樣就不能比啦)

因為B中的the metabolism是單數跟were不合且
題目後面都用所有格,而B是the...of.....跟題目不合

A也是比較同類喔

全部都是metabolism
只是屬於不同種類的動物

這題我也選錯,選成(B)了~沒仔細看後面的were
不過那時候一下就把(A)劃掉了~~因為dinosaur後面沒有加s
many species of dinosaur為什麼會對呢?
麻煩大家幫我解答一下好嗎~~

我查了一下字典，metabolism 是不可數名詞。一般來講，不可數名詞很少加a或定冠詞，且不可能加 s 表複數。

所以我用 google.com 查詢 "a metabolism" 及 "metabolisms"，看看一般英文網頁怎麼用，結果是：

metabolisms : 很多人都在用。顯然這些人不 care metabolism 是不可數名詞。

a metabolism: 比較少人用。"a metabolism"後面通常都會加別的名詞，"a"是用來修飾後面的名詞而不是"metabolism"

所以我覺得 (A)(E) 的 "a metabolism" 很奇怪，(C)(D)的 "metabolisms"不可能對。(B)的"the metabolsim"還算有點道理：(B)
的"the metabolism"是複數，指"many dinosaur species" 的 "metabolsim"，後面又複數 "were" 應該不算錯
