Q4:
In a demographic study, the population and total income of a certain region were estimated from other data, and both estimates had lower and upper limits. At the time of the estimates, was the per capita income for the region greater than $16,500?
(1) The lower limit for the estimate of the population was 330,000 people.
(2) The lower limit for the estimate of the total income was $5,500,000,000.

Can anyone explan why the answer is "E" ? Mine is "C" as I thought these two terms give the information of lower population and lower total income. Therefore, we can know if per capita income for the region greater than $16500.....

如果是ｃ的話，330,000人，$5,500,000,000，per capita income 的下限至少是 16666，那不表示一定會大於 $ 16,500嗎？

我還是搞不懂為何是ｅ... plz 解惑...

不是啦~~我的見解是人數要最多,收入要最低,這樣才可以算出每個人最低的收入阿!!
自己再想一下囉~~

我猜想啦！（讓大家來評斷一下）
選項給的兩項標準是這個調查裡的『最低標準』，
可能代表的是以上的調查數字要超過這兩項標準，調查才會有效，
所以當然無法判定答案！！

因為鎮民人數跟收入標準都是「浮動的」！

題目給你兩個資料的下限
請問你可以求出這兩個資料的平均值嗎?
給你母體的樣本最少樣本數下限,給你數據下限,你可以求出平均值嗎?

請將式子以分數表示 --> $5,500,000,000/330,000（人）
其中(1)給的是 "lower limit" , 如果是upper limit, 才足以回答問題
若人數 > 330,000，假設400,000好了，就不一定嚕∼

不知道這樣的解答是否大家看的懂
