我在GWD中也看到很多的這類型題目，也就是一題切割成三至四段，用逗號隔開，但坦白說，以閱讀功力如此差之我，再加上句子本身就有很多修飾歧異的情況下，造成我做十題對不到三五題，很苦惱呀，請大家幫幫忙

我想問的是這種題目做題的基本原則
類似這種each 或with的修飾要優先看誰
還有插入句在這種語句中的應用與變化

或是有任何訣竅，別客氣，貢獻出來吧

但 N1and N2 分詞 , 分詞可以同時修飾 N1 及N2 嗎 ? 3Q ^^

我去問莫老師時 他給了一個怪怪的回答
他說supported by posts是修飾arrowweed 指arrowweed被posts支撐
這樣說起來句意超怪 但我不好意思追問
又說在E之中with roofs of poles and arrowweed that are修飾shades
是不對的 因為改變句意
但明明A之中的each(with) a roof of poles and arrowweed同樣修飾shades
那不就自打嘴巴

至於are的時態問題 那是表一個事實 用現在式應該沒什麼錯
而且這題不管那個答案都同樣存在著ambiguity的問題

大陸有個人發明了一種說法叫"夾心餅乾"
我的經驗是那種題目有個特色 跟這題不同
他大部分會是四句或以上 讀法大概都是一句接三句 二句接四句
這是我的經驗 比大陸的說法簡單 你可以試試
最好的例子是有名的爭議題monkfish的size limit
這也就那題我覺得A對的原因

我覺得那個A.each a roof of poles and arrow weed這個是當同位語修飾shades,但又覺得很奇怪,看到dwellings known as shades是不是表示drelling跟shades這兩種東西可以算是相等的,所以大概讓讀者覺得drelling=shades=each a roof of poles and arrow weed但不一定完全相等,如果是這樣的話,可能會比較合理一點

我不認為 :

1.還需要加 "with" , 佐證為OG#122 (A)

2. supported 是同時修飾 "poles and arrow weed"

這樣的句意才會比較完整正確

不知道老師是否同意. 屑屑

這題我覺得其實說要加個with有點道理

因為shades其實在這邊就是他們住的房子,那房子不等於屋頂啊,所以加個with還不賴

但是在現有選項中,我還是會選a,理由同魚

另外,supported by posts的確是修飾a roof of poles and arrowweed 比較好

很玄妙吧~

按照句子的排列的確是沒錯啊

arrowweed 是最靠近的N 所以說 arrowweed 是 supported by posts set in a rectangle 的修飾主語 ,一點都不奇怪 :D

不過 , 根據我當初補習時 不時在捷運上騷擾莫北北的經驗

他應該話沒有說完 ....因為他以為降說學生就懂了 :D

請教這兩者在用法上不同之處??
另外，若是硬要改，可用with改寫嗎
