provide support to 是支援人手
for是提供佐證

動作與狀態的區別
這裡用動作很難傳達原意
證據不會動
不會支援人去分類

support 似乎沒有加 for的慣用,只有support of 或support to
這裡的for是不是因為provide
provide ... for 的慣用
