我有看到有人釋這麼解釋e的
作者反駁那些支持irradiation的人的論點，用either…or…，先說明much irradiated foods是直接食用不用煮，表示支持者的論點無關討論，因為不管怎樣irradiated foods還是降低了許多營養價值，你提cooking沒意義；而支持者的論點也有誤導人嫌疑，因為如果是那些既要照射又要烹煮的食物，其營養價值將會減少更多，所以提出cooking當比較是不恰當的，無法替照射食物找到堅定的論點支持。

請大家多多提供意見!!!

我個人覺得應該選 E 是更好的
可以應用從RC學來的: 態度要一致
因為是要講 irradiation 的不好 (misleading)
而 C 這個答案太 neutral
所以 E 這個答案勝出~

我覺得C不對
題目是在針對irradiation 所帶來的營養價值架降低的負面影響
我們要找出可以反駁 proponents 的點 也就是他的負面影響並不是像P說的那樣
: 跟cooking 比起來 irradiation降低營養價值的程度 不會差於cooking
事實上發現P的論點根本離題 因為 1. 大部分食物根本不用cooking 2. 就算要cooking irradiation 時已經降低營養降值 , 加上cooking 這個動作後 irradiation food 降低營養價值的情況會是加成的 (二次剝削) 需要cooking 的irradiation food 是一定要碰到兩種程序 所以 怎可以把他拆開來比較

(C) 選項 說 可以延長儲存食物的時間 跟我們在討論營養價值跟cooking 一點關係都沒有 是無關選項吧
且我也覺得 C太neutral

指 destroys a significant percentage of whatever vitamin B1 a food may contain. 這方面 → 所以後面要反對的都應該跟destroy vitamin B1 有關.

我也支持E
C 只是說明輻射殺菌跟烹煮的意義或目的 和VITAMIN的流失沒有補充說明 感覺上有點和論點無關

E 說明了 如果經過輻射殺菌的食品(如真空包裝的鮑魚) 還拿去煮鮑魚湯
那VITAMIN的流失就更多
即 輻射殺菌跟烹煮都會造成維他命流失
而題目非要說輻射殺菌和烹煮 造成維他命流失量是差不多的 來說服大眾
實在難以信服~~~
(跟台灣政黨很像 兩個濫蘋果指責對方一般濫 來證明自己沒有那麼差@___@)

因為e有支持的意味所以考慮了c,不過後來還是覺得e言之有理,追加e一票

原文說proponent舉irradiation比cooking的傷害少的意圖是想要weaken irradiation會降低營養素的影響,可是:

1.大部分的irradiation不會cooking,所以用比較法會不會降低營養素沒有用,為什麼？因為我根本不會拿去cooking>那麼比較少又怎樣

2.如果兩個一起,會更嚴重(這句話並不用擔心支持的意味,因為本來proponent以cooking作為反駁時,已經是指cooking本身也會降低營養素)
而這一句話更能趁勝追擊地說,好吧就算少部份會拿去煮(因為1已經說大部分不會煮)可是煮加irradiation那不是更糟,兩個都會降低營養素

結論就是prponent是個白痴,想說irradiation還是不錯,卻講的軟弱無力
