而單字還要是正常的 習慣的
以本題為例
try 和 attempt一樣 但trying就不是常用的字
attempt to metabolize 再和 trying that it metabolize
基於conciseness的理由，不選B選E

我對這一道題的理解 , 在這一道題中 ,關於 attempt 優於 trying 這個部份

只考了一個很簡單的觀念 : be 動詞的平衡

N1be N2 ==> N1=N2

在這裡
(b)enzymes = organism's trying

(e)enzymes = organism's attempt

因為enzyme 是名詞 , 且文意中無需 V-ing 來強調持續進行的狀態 ,attemp 本身
已能完整傳達句意 , 因此是較好的選擇


順道一題的事 N1 be N2 的觀念 , ETS 非常熱愛

不過 較為經常性的出題點 則是 充分利用這個概念 然後考介係詞

舉例 i am home / i am at home

ETS常會以少了 "at" 做為低級無恥的騙錢選項
