忽然發現躲了一個字both
一系列作品是單數
為何會有both?
跟WS與DE兩人也無關
搞懂句意後發現是來魚目混珠
ABDE只有D沒有both

大衛兄的意思應該是指who開頭的那子句是非限定句可以跳過不讀，接下來就會看到yet帶出的子句，可是前面一個句子並沒有動詞阿，所以文法結構錯！

(C) 沒有動詞
(E) both 雙向修飾: ...a body of work {rooted both} in... => both 不能只有一本書;或者 ...a body of work rooted {both in...}

因此 去選項中看了一下 發現並沒有這個結構

所以只剩下C和D來考慮
