Well...since USC is mentioned, I feel like I have to jump in and give you my thoughts.
Getting a master degree is part of the process of life. Regardless you are doing MBA or other programs, getting into a top 10 or top100 school is not going to guarantee you anything. True, you will certainly have more opportunities to be sucessful if you are in higher quality programs which "fit" you well.
So your goal is certainly to get into a school which has experienced and top-notch students. But the key is "fit". That is something you need to do your own due diligence.
To be honest, I feel like you need more preparation in your language skills/ability if you really desire to be in par with your peer classmates in a top ranking school.
