看懂就很簡單



(B) A substance, which was recently discovered, from the licorice [rainbow]plant, 50 times sweeter than sucrose,[/rainbow]Ｂ是說來自LP的物質　　然後兩個插入語　前一個修飾substance 後一個修飾licorice plant

E變成了 sucrose (蔗糖)被後面這個from the licorice plant修飾

所以B是從LP中找到物質　這物質可以又甜又可以防蛀牙　屌!
E變成了蔗糖是從LP找到的　E句意完全錯誤 XD

那句意不變成licorice plant 這種植物比蔗糖甜50倍
可是應該是substance比蔗糖甜50倍吧

還是50 times sweeter than sucrose也修飾A substance
那B又是怎樣的結構呢？

句意上看也是這樣的

我想 會不會是因為前面有which了
後面就不重複了

雖然有點不清楚 但比起其他選項要好多了！

考:1.關係代名詞,2.修飾語
以削去法找答案:
(A) 流水句 => 不選
(B) which = substabce
", which...," 位置擺得很好: {A substance, which was recently discovered, from the licorice plant}, 50 times sweeter than sucrose,
插句 ", 50 times...," 可能會修飾到 plant
(C) which = plant => 不選
(D) which = sucrose => 不選
(E) from the licorice plant 修飾 sucrose, 改變句意 => 不選
(A) (C) (D) (E) 肯定不行了 => (B) : 雖然不是完美無缺!
