I heard that R1 invitaions are still issuing. You can find the deadline of interview invitation on the website of Stern.

不知道你參考的是哪裡的資料
根據Business Weeks的資料(http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/05/full_time_profiles/stern.htm)是這樣說的:

"3,231 people applied to the full-time MBA program in 2005. The school accepted 27% (selectivity) of those applicants."
"In 2005, the B-school interviewed 34% of its full-time MBA applicants, and 100% of its admitted applicants"

所以收到interview invitation的人還是掛掉了一些人.
雖然不是你說的"NYU admitted all the interviewee last year.",不過資料也表示有面試機會就有近八成錄取的機會。
加油啊，收到Stern interview invitation的高手們，離admission不遠了!!

Hi~dear aacb~you can check on my background on the following link.
I am just an ordinary applicant. I get great help here and thanx to every generous one from咖啡店. I wouldn't have finished this application process if it not were the encouragement I got here. My application schedule was extremely tight. I finished the whole process within one week and submitted all documents on-line on the deadline date Jan 15.
