[問題]送出申請後若沒拿到面試，可以做些什麼呢

星期天聚會很多人問這個問題，可惜小的不才，沒辦法回答所有的問題，請大家提供意見

這類的問題若再細分有幾種情形
情形一：快到學校發面試通知的deadline了，如果沒有面試的話，不用等到放榜日就知道沒希望了，而我卻還沒拿到面試，(Q1)是否可以做些什麼來拿到面試呢

情形二：學校政策說會面試每個人，但事實上很多人拿到waiver，例如西北或Duke(我不知道是否還有別的學校也是這種情形)，(Q2)這種情形有可能因為我做些努力而拿到面試嗎?該做什麼呢?(Q3)這種情形是否表示我沒希望了

情形三：學校並沒有所謂發面試通知的deadline，(Q4)但離放榜日越來越近，還沒拿到面試通知，我該怎麼辦

大家要回答就直接寫Qx就行了
不知道我是否漏了什麼情形

Case 1 & Case 3 are similar.
Examples of schools that issue interviews by invitation only: W/S/H/Col/Chi/MIT/NYU/Berkeley/Cornell

I think with these schools, there's very little that you can do but wait and await your fate. The best thing to do is to put together a strong application and hope you make the cut.

Case 2: self-arranged interview

There are many schools that employ this format, each with its own unique twist and turns. If anyone wants to discuss this further, we can talk about schools individually.

Kellogg: if you get an initial waiver that's fine. But, if you are to be admitted, you do need to be interviewed. A callback interview is a positive sign.

Duke: Same as Kellogg. Callback interview is positive. Without an interview, i don't think you will be admitted. However, don't lose complete hope. It is possible to be Waitlisted w/o interview.

如果是約20-30名B-School, 沒拿到INTERVIEW 主動去爭取是否適當?

It'd be easier if we talk about specific schools. That's a big range rank 20-30. Also, according to which ranking?

我記得有些學校是可以在campus visit時要求面試的
比如Kellogg 、UCLA or Darden
但有些即使你已經到了學校
學校還是會說invitation only
沒辦法安排

此外
如果要自已安排去美國面試的話
就要確定自已真的準備妥當
因為學校對你的預期可能也會因為該面試是你自行要求而比較高吧
