這邊的with用法 文法沒有問題，但已經造成句意的改變。原文是用though 有"即使 雖然" 的意思 ，而with並不能完全表達出來這個意境。
另外，原文強調的是great increases 在兩個方面: population 及 intensity. E改為 "great population increases in intensity.... "完全錯誤

though可當連接詞, 所以原句應該可以還原成這樣

這樣就沒有一個句子有兩個動詞的問題了, 而且and前後對稱的也不差~
