A certain business producted x rakes each month from Novenber through February and shipped x/2 rakes at the begining of each month from March through October.The business paid no storage costs for the rakes from Noverber through February,but it paid storage costs of $0.10 per rake each month from March through October for the rakes that had not been shipped .In terms of x, what was the total storage cost ,in dollars ,that the business paid for the rakes for the 12 months from Noverber through October?

只生產4個月> 4X
3-10月,每個月開始時ship> X/2(=0.5X),所以沒有ship 每月遞減0.5X(3.5X,3.0X,2.5X,2.0X,1.5X,1.0X,0.5X)
storage cost 每月rakes x 0.1
加總後=1.4X

可能是我的閱讀真的不好吧!
我只能讀出從三月之後每個月都會運送X/2的貨
還是不知道怎看出來會每月遞減
我也有去看過CD
上面的人說
這樣的長篇敘述已經算是最近ETS較簡單的題目了
機考都比這題的閱讀難多了
唉....好煩唷

題目說,沒有被shiped要付保管費,
(but it paid storage costs of $0.10 per rake each month from March through October for the rakes that had not been shipped .)
所以,已經shiped的就不需付保管費啦.
而3-10月每月初有x/2會shiped,所以3月就只剩3.5x要付保管費,依此類推(每月遞減0.5x).

為什麼ship是遞減阿
和為什麼遞減是從3.5x開始3.5x是哪裡哪的呢
