想請教(d)such adapted sapces rather than by some of the buildings actually designed for them

不太清楚rather than 和than 的差異,rather 應為adv,請兩者都為平行結構的提示字,有何不同呢?

另,instead of 與上述兩者的語意有何不同呢 ?

rather than是限定互換
A rather than B
是一定只有B能被換掉
CDE或其他的都不行

instead of沒有限定
要換掉誰都可以

than是比較
與上兩者都無關

我對答案都沒意見~
但是想請問幾個小問題....

1) OG 116 題目中未話線部份with a predisposition to religious belief 是修飾church 還是those ?
因為它接近church, 照理講應該就是修飾church...
BUT, 邏輯上來說, church 應該不會有什麼religious belief 才是~
所以依照據意應該是修飾Those ?

2) 比較OG 104 裡, with 伴隨是修飾主句, 所以有逗號(，),
倘若OG116這裡的with 也是修飾主句those, 那為何在這裡的with 前未有逗號? 抑或是with......應該放在who 後面會比較恰當?

OG104，可以簡化成
The diet of the Greek was vegetarian with meat as a rarity.
只是vegetarian後舉了一些例子，才在with 前面有了逗號，所以並不是一定要有逗號
