Emory face-to-face interview experience sharing

I submitted my application on 10 Jan and completed the face-to-face interview with Ms. Nancy Remington couple days ago in Taipei. Want to share with you the questions:

1. Going through my resume including the gaps.
2. Career goals
3. Why MBA and now?
4. Other business schools I also applied for.
5. My criteria to choose business schools.
6. Why Emory? (my advice: be consistent through questions 4 - 6. It's ok to have exceptions, but you'd better have a reasonable answer.)
7. What do I think will be my greatest challenges in my MBA education? (my advice: be specific) Do I have any plan to prepare myself for the challenges before starting my MBA life? (my advice: again, be specific)
8. When will I arrive at the US if I receive the admission?
9. My questions for her.
10. Chatting about the Chinese New Year.

My interview lasted about 30 minutes. Nancy is a very nice lady who speaks slowly, so you don't have to worry about missing her questions. However, I don't know why she asked me question no.8. I think as per the rules of student visa, I can't enter the US earlier than one month before the school starts. Can anyone share your thoughts? Thanks! :)

我是12/15 submit, 1/27 interview with Nancy
劈頭第一題就是why now然後帶出why MBA, career goal
這題糾纏了好久, 問得好詳細
甚至問到了將來公司如果不想要hire MBA我怎麼辦

接下來就是why Emory, 個人認為這題相當重要
如果有跟校友交流,一定要想辦法提到
我提到參加11月informal gathering的時候
Nancy突然精神一振, 頻頻發問
我說我是參加了gathering之後才決定申請Emory的
她還追問我GMAT成績是不是在之後才report
並且特別記下來
另外她還問了我有沒有參加其他學校的gathering
跟Emory相比如何

接下來問了曾遇到最大的困難
進入學校後可能會遇到的困難(要列舉三樣)
離開台灣去異鄉念書會不會有困難

最後就是我問她問題

我的面試大約一個鐘頭, 包括她回答問題
從她的回答中我感覺到Emory的faculty非常照顧學生
即使是畢業後也是保持良好的互動
而Nancy也跟我閒聊了台灣校友的現況
另外一個訊息就是emory新的校長正在積極提升學校在亞洲的名氣
整個面試感覺相當的好
讓我更想要去啦^^
