收到Boston U. admission(請問如何請學校延長回復的時間)

收到Boston U的率取通知
超高興的～因為這是我的第一各錄取通知
學校寄了一大包的文件和一個學校的包包
雖然很高興，但是一方面又很沮喪的發現學校要我在2/27前回復
而且還要附上1000美金的保證金＠＠真暈
我還在等其他的學校的通知
不想這麼快就作決定
1000美金也不是小數目（真狠..） :sad

不知道有沒有可能延長回復的時間...
有人曾經跟Boston U.成功延長回復時間的嗎？？

真的很貴

不知道為什麼2樓的朋友說很便宜...不會是看成1000"台幣"八

給smallg參考：我是1月初的時候面試，過年前就先收到學校e-mail錄取通知，過年後就收到快地正式的率取信了...

請問有沒有人能跟我說一下要怎麼寫信問學校關於延遲回復的事情呢？感恩喔！

可是我看buffalo上面寫250 non-refundable耶
不太可能可以退費吧...
那麼好康我都不知道 ;-S

我也是跟buffalo說我要delay...
你就明講你還要等其他學校的通知就好了...
看能不能多給個2.3週考慮(或是厚著臉皮要1個月)
其實他們也都知道我們還在觀望...
buffalo有給我2週啦..bu的話不清楚..就直接問囉!

ㄜ......看到有學校的deposit需要繳$1000,
才明白原來Buffalo的$250算很便宜了. 本來還在掙扎
要不要花那$250來保留位置 +o(

請問是私立學校的deposit才那麼貴嗎? 還是每家學校要求都不同呢?

sorry to ask a question. did you get an e-mail which said there will be a Reception in Taipei by Friday, February 10th.
The most weird thing is i didn't apply this school.?!

what's that mean???
Does it count an admission letter? hoping you can sharing some information.

Yes~ I got this e-mail, too. but I don't think it's an admission letter (the admission e-mail I mentioned before is not this one). I went to another school's reception before, and I think reception is just another chance for prospective students to know the school and the school's alumni better. It's not necessay a event for admitted students.

This letter can only be regarded as a notice for the coming event of BU...
Though I didn't apply BU, I received this letter too.
