U of Rochester and UC-IRVINE

Applying for MBA is such a hard work.Luckly, got some good results.Thanks for all the helping by coffee shop. I am very grateful.
Here is some information to share.
1.12/21 got us Irvine admission: no scholarship and require a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 by March 1, 2006. (Campus interview)

2.1/26 got u of Rochester admission: scholarship approximately $7,636 .a non-refundable admission deposit of $1,500 (US) by May 1, 2006 (phone interview)

^^ I am very thankful. But it looks like UC-Irvine doesn’t like me that much.
Shall I have any doubt to accept U of Rochester?

In my opinion, from some perspective, it's better for you to attend the program that love you better, namely that you might perform well among students after studying.

Nice to know that you are also accepted by Rochester.
I received the admission with scholarship for roughly $9545 for two years on 1/21. Phone interview on 1/11.
I am still waiting for responses from other schools to make the final decision.

第一次收到有獎學金的Admission耶~~
不過，卻不太懂!!
所以不好意思，希望求助大家的幫忙。

這封信是說我可以拿到20%的獎學金each quarter，
請問他們的quarter是怎樣算的呢？3個月的那種嗎？
那這樣算起來，是一學期有...3個quarter?那我可以省約
7636*3囉？
是這樣子嗎？

I am also pleased to inform you that you have been awarded a scholarship equal to 20 percent of your tuition each quarter. At 2005-2006 tuition rates, this scholarship represents approximately $7,636 in tuition remission. This award assumes you will be enrolled as a full-time matriculated M.B.A. student registering for eleven courses in your first three quarters. If you register for more than or fewer than eleven courses, your scholarship will be adjusted accordingly. This scholarship will be extended to your second year at the same discounted rate provided you maintain a B average (3.0 on a scale of 4.0) and will continue through the remaining required Simon School courses. Simon School Scholarships are awarded each year to those candidates whose outstanding academic and professional achievements place them among the students we would most like to see enroll at Rochester. Congratulations on your receipt of this award!
