understatement用中文有點難解釋，字典大多翻譯為"保守或節制的陳述(某事)"，但如果從他的反義字overstatement"誇張、過度陳述"反推回來，就比較容易理解。
因此紅字的字面意思是說"這是今年最保守的一句話了"，言下之意是說Sarah絕對不僅僅是pretty successful而已。
