我背景實在普普 Gmat & T 都低於平均一些 不好意思說
我T的文法很爛 不過我懶的再考
gpa 3.2
比較正常的是我的課外活動跟工作經驗吧 (w/e 1.8 預官 / 1年local securities hosue/ 2年 foreign securities house)
我想我的例子 可以給未來申請的人很多希望吧 (羞)
不需要家裡有企業跟超好成績(gpa. at. T)也有機會念好學校
我給大家建議就是 就是不要怕申請自己喜歡的學校
u never know
不要把所謂的硬指標當作該不該申請該校的決定
就看網頁 看校友 看感覺 看自己goals 決定喜不喜歡該校
最後選出5間 很冒險也怕一間都不中 但反正對自己的決定不要後悔就好
最後丟出4間 史大來不及寫(great pity 雖然八成也不會中 哈) 因為工作太忙 老闆只讓我請兩個多星期的假來寫essay 還把他的話當耳邊風沒申請華頓 因為他同學有幾個華頓的
我最喜歡team culture的學校 因為我個人覺得mba就是要跟他人學習 that why 我最想等Kellogg
另外就自己的finance background and big city 選了 LBS and Columbia
加上Duke剛好在放假內寫完essay (我買一本成功申請哈佛mba的essay來參考)
不過因為工作關係 我沒機會出國看學校
但我都有寫信去煩校友(像在板上問小君, klex 寫信問duke的alan …)和學校 讓每間學校都覺得他們是我的top 1 (cross fingers)
不過也對啦 要是一間都不中 每個當然都是我的top choice
