這題看完, 完全找不到答案.....-_-
The argument : 雖然crab eggs減少, 但birds可以停留久一點吃飽再走, 所以crab數量減少沒差

想到可能的weaken: 1. crab eggs數量減少有差, 2 birds無法久留

A. 除了egg之外沒有其他食物給birds
B. crab減少是人為造成
C. D beach比其他beach有更多crab
D. crab不會把egg藏起來
E. bird越早完成migration, 表示他們越早吃飽
怎麼會是E呢? E只是敘述, 並沒有說bird就會早走,
加上題目說bird可以停久一點, 表示他們沒吃飽==> 不覺得有weaken的意思???

一點看法
前提：crab eggs減少
結論：birds停留夠久+ 吃足夠的crab eggs完成遷徒 => birds population不受影響

E提出他因 所以weaken
The earlier in the season the shorebirds complete their migration, the more likely they are to breed successfully.
早完成遷徒 (而非停留夠久) => birds 成功繁衍 (population不受影響)

原題:crabs的減少不影響birds, birds還是ㄧ樣可以吃得飽飽的(longer),再complete migration to breed

(E)The earlier in the season the shorebirds complete their migration, the more likely they are to breed successfully.

即,若birds花了太久的時間吃的飽飽的(longer),才complete migration,則他們的繁殖成功(breed successfully)的機會就會大大減少,則就會threat birds population
=>weaken
