的確 以平行結構來看(B)最好

但我想請問A為什麼錯ㄚ
因為我看到題目as many households where the children and grandchildren are living in their grandparents' home as
as 後加many households所以要找個平行的
就選了(A)
不選(B)除了因為"虛字少選" 加上我想平行是和第一個as後的結構平行
結果錯啦....

因為as...as跟compare有意義上的重覆，是贅詞，
而且as...as後面一定要接比較基礎的名詞

所以 compare to households 多餘
(B) ... there are more than three times as many households ... as there are households...

那如果把whose去掉會變成對的嗎? 拜託指點迷津...

因為those 指代模糊…those 是代three times, households, children, grandchildren 還是全部…還是 children + grandchildren ...
遇到those 題…必須要有明確的指代對象…最好前面只有一個複詞…，否則通常有可能就是錯的…

those 有問題了…基本上連whose 就會更有問題啦！

這題關鍵在看到there are會不會就立即刪掉…

這樣導致 households 與小孩比~~~~~~不對稱
