I'll strongly suggest you to live in downtown.
Any hotel around N Michigan Ave or zip code 60601, 60611 will be fine, given that you can take Metra or CTA bus No.6 to Chicago GSB.

Following you can find the hotel information in Hyde Park.
Because it's not in the downtown, if the budget is limited, it's not a bad choice. But the transportation is not that convenient.

BTY, I took the taxi from Midway airport to Chicago when arriving. It costed me around 30 dollars.

申請文件就是越詳細越好，因為你永遠不知道學校在這樣東西上的比重會放多少。 :)

會問上述那些問題主要是對於一些題目，本身其實並沒有那些經驗（ex:have received a failing grade, been placed on academic probation or study, employment outside the country...等等諸如此類的問題）以及關於community involvement的部分，可以是社團的經驗嗎？而且還要提供一個聯絡人，如果沒有呢？
如果有上述的情況，有些問題就沒有辦法回答(或回答的很好)，
那這樣是不是就表示在申請上會有相對的劣勢啊？

如果沒有的話，就誠實回答說沒有。
重點還是在ESSAY

但是盡量可以想一些例子。或許會有加分的效果
例如說community involvement
你可以想想是不是在公司內部有參與組織或是安排什麼樣的活動
或是以前在大學的相關經驗。

I admitted that I am first drawn by Chicago as for the special essay questions this year. Through some researches, the website and reviewing above discussion, Chicago has become the best choice in my mind. As working on the essays, I hope to ask few questions as below,
1. How did the LEAD program(Leadership Effectiveness and Development) work? Might you share this experience with us?
2. Because I come from the marketing research industry and hope to switch to the management consulting in the future. Might you give some ideas or suggestions what I can learn(or get ) from Chicago (or MBA) and what I need to solid in my own side no matter before or after MBA ? I think MBA gives me the chance to integrate the previous experience and offers me the wider vision to evaluate things, and still eager to know your thoughts!!

>>這是一個禮拜三小時的必修課，總共分為十個禮拜10個Modules. 內容涵蓋說服、危機管理、談判、壓力管理、道德.....等

由二年級學生所擔任的Facilators負責主講，一年級學生以小組的方式進行情境演練跟課堂討論，是非常實用而且有效的一堂課。

很多課堂所學的東西，對於之後在工作面試跟參加企業研討活動的人際互動都非常受用。

2. Might you give some ideas or suggestions what I can learn(or get ) from Chicago (or MBA) and what I need to solid in my own side no matter before or after MBA ?

- Structure thinking following sound business logics.
- Hardcore education of various business aspects.
- Well-rounded knowledge of current business environment.
- Great interpersonal communications skill to form a strong and tight network.

I believe these are pretty much the major aspects those consulting firms tested us during the interview.

I still remember the words from our Dean, Ted Snyder.

He said, the GSB education is not going to ensure your success in the future. the GSB education is going to challenge you all the time and get you prepared with confidence when you face the difficult challenging situations after your graduation.
