My brief background:

Academic: NTUEE BS(3.8)/MS(4.0)
Working experience: R&D engineer - 1.5 year
Product marketing engineer - 1 year
Activities: NTU choruse student conductor
Vocalist in Dizzy Jazz Big Band
team leader in Flamenco dance competition
GMAT: 700
TOEFL: 280

I think my advantages could be
1. Above-average academic performance + advanced degree
2. Interesting extracurricular activities (also demonstrate leadership)
3. Expressed "who I am" well in my essay

感謝您不辭辛勞在站上幫大家解答學校的問題,想請教您Entrepreneurial Design for Extreme Affordability 這個課程,請問這課程是有限制參與人數嗎？還是要自己找團隊伙伴來做這個PROJECT,另外有個問題是２００７年的PROGRAM,我看網站上有提到貴校將要大幅修改課程資料,其中有個改變就是提供客制化的課程給新生,請教這個PROGRAM是從2007年開始實施嗎?抱歉擔誤您這麼多時間回覆問題,希望這不會造成您太大的困擾.

Hello Terry,

Entrepreneurial Design for Extreme Affordability這個課程限制15個MBA學生,要上這門課要先申請,再由faculty team挑選學生(Stanford有不少課都要交application form或是pre-qualifty paper才能上).

2007年的確有新的課程,是從2007收的新生(Class 2009)開始實行.我所知道的部分包括1.把core courses必修課分配到二年級(現在必修課都集中在一年級) 2.把global management的經驗改為必修(現有的GMIX program-到一個沒住過大於兩年的地方做為期四星期的internship,study trip跟service trip都是optional,並且非常熱門難申請,之後會增加機會讓每個學生都能參加) 3.必修課的順序也會更改以更加符合同學的需要(細節我就不太清楚了).所有同學聽到的反應都是a.我好想留級多讀一年喔b.我可不可以再申請一次啊....希望這些資訊對你有幫助喔:)
