我覺得one是指其中一隻, 而it沒有指代對象, 這裡不適用
所以A D E 不選

再者, D E中的and so 似乎造成fragment

選項C的in order to表目的, 和後面的句意接不上

我怎麼記得以前在哪裡做過one只可以指代前方所提過的單數名詞
在這一題主詞Caribou是複數 (單複數同型)

翻出陳年筆記:

one, that, it 都可以代替前面已提過的名詞，但用法不同，句意也不同：

it與前方所指的事物是"同一個"，如og199 earthquake那一題的誤謬；複數為they
one與前方所指的事物是"同一類"，並非"同一個"，one指的是這一類中的任意一個，所以稱不定代名詞；複數為ones
that與前方所指的事物是"同一類"，並非"同一個"，但與one不同的是，that有"指定"這一類中的某一個，而非任意一個，是指定的，故稱指示代名詞；複數為those

所以：it指同一個；one指同類中任意一個；that指同類中另一個

本來想要再翻翻字典,,,結果one的用法真的很多很亂...用在AT的部份,上面的資訊差不多夠了,,,另外一個考點應用作quantifier時, one / each / every 永恆接單數動詞~
